In 2009 Astruptunet had an exhibition showing that the artist Nikolai Astrup studied the prints of japanese artists as Hokusai, Hiroshige and Keisai Eisen. The Japanese art historian Fumiko Ito did research which can be read in the catalogue produced this year. The catalogue is both in Norwegian and English and produced by the Sogn and Fjordane Art Museum.

I 2009 viste Astruptunet ei utstilling som viste at Nikolai Astrup blei kjent med tresnitt laga av m.a. Hokusai, Keisai Eisen og Hiroshige. Kunsthistorikaren Fumiko Ito har forska på dette og har skrive teksten i katalogen som kom ut i 2011. Katalogen er produsert av Sogn og Fjordane Kunstmuseum.
